Well, another Christmas has come and gone. We had a wonderful holiday season full of fun and family. On Christmas Eve we spent time with my family in the afternoon. Lori had the best cheeseball she has ever tasted (thanks Kathy), and the kids had a great time opening presents. My parents gave us all a huge supply of great food storage, which is brilliant - They know we would never buy it on our own.
Later that evening we went to Lori's brother's house to spend time with her family. We had a great dinner and spent some time talking about the Savior, the true meaning of Christmas.
Christmas morning was spent at our little home. Lori's parents were here while we opened our presents. Lori got me some great tools so I can figure out how to become a handyman. Someday I'll have time to use them! She also got me the new John Grisham book, The Dark Knight on DVD, and with her parents, got me some much-needed shirts and ties.
I gave Lori a bunch of boring stuff: an external hard drive to store her pictures on, clothes, a projection alarm clock, a blanket... I know, not too exciting. Hurley got a bunch of new toys that he LOVES! After presents, Christmas morning was spent with Lori's family where we had a wonderful breakfast, and on Christmas night my mom made a delicious Armenian dinner. Even Lori found some ethnic taste buds somewhere on her tongue and really enjoyed the meal. I'm grateful to have such great families to spend the holidays with. Merry Christmas!
