Myrtle Beach

We decided to go on a vacation to celebrate graduation, instead of attending the ceremony. From what we hear, we didn't miss a whole lot. We heard three words from friends that described the day of commencement at the University of Utah: long, hot, boring.

We spent eight warm, fun days in Myrtle Beach instead. And we got to wear swimsuits instead of a cap and gown. We're pretty sure we didn't get the short end of the stick on this deal.

Here are some photos of our trip...

Have you ever seen a more relaxed 9 month-old? He loved the pool... but HATED the ocean. The ocean was actually just as warm as the pool, so not sure what he didn't like about it.

Lori's sister met us out there with her husband and baby. JJ and his cousin are just six weeks apart in age and had a good time playing together.

All ready for church.

Lori's first Mother's Day.

"WINK"

This was our last night. Neither of us were ready to come home. Hopefully we'll be back soon!

That first pic he looks so big! What a fun trip. August is barrelling towards you like a train and he will be 1 soon! The older I get the faster time goes by. What a cutie that JJ is.
